FALL 2025 SESSION
Tuesday 9 September to Thursday 11 December
KEY DATES/ACTIVITIES

Tuesday 11 November: No classes (Remembrance Day).

Tuesday 2 December: Students considered ready for testing will be informed by their instructors.

Thursday 4 December: Testing.

5:30 pm to 6:30 pm (lower level): Testing for 7-10 years old class.

6:45 pm to 8:00 pm (lower level): Testing for youths (11+)/adults class.

Tuesday 9 December: Combined event for all students.
-
End of year event for all age groups/classes. Families are invited to attend.

5:30 pm to 6:30 pm: Presentation of test results, demonstrations and presentation of the Student of the Year award (lower level).

6:30 pm to 7:30 pm: Snacks and refreshments (upper level) for all students and their families.

Thursday 11 December: Optional classes for those who want a head start on their subjects for the next session.

5:30 pm to 6:30 pm: Regular class format.

6:45 pm to 8:00 pm (lower level): Short regular class followed by Black Belt testing.

FAMILIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING FINGER FOODS (appetizer or dessert) TO SERVE 6 to 8 PEOPLE. REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED.
DOJO WILL BE CLOSED FROM 12 DECEMBER 2025 to 2 FEBRUARY 2026. THE WINTER/SPRING 2026 SESSION WILL START ON 3 FEBRUARY.
To raise funds for the Dojo throughout the year, an account has been set-up with the Shuswap Bottle Depot located at 120 Aylmer Road, Chase. When returning your empties, you are invited to donate the proceeds to the Dojo. Simply mention that the funds are to be added to the Shuswap Karate Dojo account. Thank you in advance for your support.
NEW STUDENTS REGISTRATION
New students may now start attending karate classes at any time during a session once they have submitted their online New Student Registration Form.

Children 7-10 years old:

Classes: Tues and Thurs 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.

Session fees: $125.

Youths (11+)/adults:

Classes: Tues and Thurs 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm.

Sessions fees: $160.

RETURNING STUDENTS (i.e. those who have attended one or more sessions): Submit the online Returning Student Registration Form.
RETURNING BLACK BELTS (i.e. those who have attended one or more sessions): Submit the online Returning Black Belt Registration Form.
